Donat Caduff | Artist Residency
Based on an artist’s exchange program among Switzerland and Lebanon, Swiss-Rumantsch artist Donat Caduff will be showing the work he created during his 3-months stay in Beirut. The title of the exhibition “Ordeifer spazis”, i.e. “Out of space” reflects the idea of a workspace of an artist-in-residence beyond a common environment. It also calls forth the discovery of uncommon perspectives of Lebanese daily-life culture, inspired by an outsider unfamiliar with locals’ sub-consciousness. The show is made up of photographs, drawings and text work.
